Brotherly Love, (Posted Sept. 6, 2020)

After surviving the world of COVID, which was not fun, I have peeked my head out among the living. My last post was August 8th and here it is September 6th, my how time flies when your not having fun. During my time of sickness I had plenty of time to follow the world’s situation and our situation here in the United States. I believe we are merely doing two things. First, I believe that we are worshiping the wrong God, we are worshiping the god of science and secondly we are lacking in brotherly understanding, which puts forth kindness, understanding and compassion for our fellow man. We desperately need to get back to God and His ways. We need His guidance, His love, or we will not survive. It is as simple as that. Forget the science and get back to God, forget the color of your fellowman’s skin and know that we are all made in the likeness of God. Here is a reading from Romans 13: 8-10 to ponder on. “Owe no one anything, except to look one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”: Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

May God Bless you and your family.

Jim
